- Darius l who was the king of Persia gathers many soldiers to conquer the Greeks
- The Persian soldiers landed near the bay of marathon. The amount of soldiers Persia had compared to the Greeks were many but the Greeks were very skilled which caused the Persians to fail
- Ten years later King Xerxes, Darius l's son decided to get revenge on greek and formed an army of 200,000 soldiers and 1,000 warships
- Spartan king Leonidis l and 300 spartans got in ship and trapped the Persians in between a passage in the mountains and killed many of their soldiers
- When Persian soldiers arrived at Athens they found it deserted as most everyone has fleed
