Tupac Amaru was originally named Jose Gabriel Condorcanqui born in region of Peru where he inherited his fathers role as a leader of the local indigenous people. He moved against Spanish Governors to help with reducing heavy taxes and bettering crucial work conditions for the local people and forced workers. After the repeat of ignored appeals Condorcanqui took matters into his own hands and arrested the Corregidor and had him hanged in front of crowd.

Tupac was able to capture the town of Sangarara November 1780 but it took a turn when there was no support from the ruling classes because of how violent it was when the rebels attacked Spaniards houses. Co- leader Bastidas made a Battalion of other insurgents. Tupac was able to construct a alliance with Quechua speakers and the rebels from Bolivia.
Unfortunately for Tupac the alliance fell in Cuzco where the Bastidas were imprisoned by Spanish authorities and sentenced to death along with their families. Tupacs execution included his tongue being cut off, amputation attempt, and finally beheading. With his youngest son being forced to witness then sent to be imprisoned in Spain.
