- Mica is her name. She has just been with UCTV for a few weeks as an HR professional. She always gives her all in her career as a single mother and breadwinner for her family.
- Hi, I'm Mica. I am concerned about other people, and having worked in HR during university, I believed this was an area where I could immediately contribute. I redesigned onboarding, reevaluated employment contracts, and came up with a number of performance management approaches.
- The manager made the decision to hire a new employee. Mike is a suave-looking Filipino with international experience. My boss tried to get him to work in HR with us, and he accepted.
- One day, the company's Head of Sales stopped by the HR corner and noticed Mike.

- Oh, that's irrelevant; you can accomplish so much more in Sales! You can simply delegate the task to her.
- I'm offended by what the Sales Manager said. His comments and actions made it clear that my HR work was unimportant, and Mike, who lacked relevant expertise, was more valuable than me.
