Süžeeskeem Tekst

  • The man in this scene a thief, who steals jewelry, but suspects that his friend is a thief. This follows Freud's projection theory that explains when one attributes their unacceptable feelings to another person.
  • Hey! Bill what are you doing? Are you trying to steal that antique golden clock from 1884, London?
  • Projection
  • What? I'm just looking at these antique jewelries. Why are you suspecting me?
  • The woman in this illustration was angry all day because of a heated argument with her husband and took her anger out on her children. This expresses the displacement theory when people satisfy an impulse with an object or a person.
  • Why can't yall be useful for once in your life. Why did your pencil fall on the floor. You are clumsy and always drop everything. You look like you dad and act like him
  • Displacement
  • Mum why are you so angry at us today? You are never like this. I didn't mean to drop the pencil. I'm sorry
  • This theory describes how individual may regress back in psychological time in times of stress. Similar to the illustration, the young adult regresses back to throwing a tantrum from the anger built inside of him from the traffic that may delay him for his interview.
  • Regression
  • What in the world? I hate everything. Why does it have to be so busy on the most important day ever? Why me? Why did my alarm not wake me up? I've been stuck here for 3 hours
