- At the beginning of holes, Stanley is arrested because the cops think that he stole Sweet Feets shoes.
- Falling Action
- During the rising action, Stanley steels the sunflower seeds. He finds a gold tube with the letters K.B on it which is really a lipstick container and he gives it to X-ray because they made a deal, if Stanley ever finds something he has to give it to X-ray. Stanley decides to make a deal with Zero if he isn't tired after digging his hole he would teach Zero how to read but Zero offered to dig stanley's hole if he taught him how to read. Zero runs away because he hits Mr.P on the head Stanley decides to steel the water truck but then he crashes it and starts running to find Zero. He finds a boat with the words Marry Lou on it And I know thats Sams boat because his donkeys name was Marry Lou and Sam got shot in the water.
- Resolution
- The Climax is when Stanley carries Zero up the mountain and breaks his family curse because elya had to carry Madam Zeroni up the mountain but he didn't so Madam Zeroni put a curse on elyas family and Stanley is in elyas family and Zero is in Madam Zeroni's. So when Stanley carried Zero up the mountain he broke his family curse.

- During the falling action Stanley and Zero go back to camp Green Lake and start digging were they found the gold lipstick tube once they are done digging they find the treasure and as they are getting out of the whole the warden catches them and as they get caught by the warden yellow-spotted lizards start climbing up there backs then stanley's lawyer comes to the seen.
- During the resoloution Stanley's lawyer comes with the Texas Attorney general then the general then the general arrests the warden, Mr.Pendanski, and Mr.Sir then Zero finds his mom and they have a little party with sweet feet and they are watching the sploosh commercial.
