- Jerome, a 12 year old bot gets shot in a park by a cop in a car. Because Jerome had a gun.
- A weird ghost tells Jerome NOT to go to his own funeral. Because he said Jerome would me disturbed.
- Jerome meets the cops kid, the cop that shot Jerome. He doesn't like her but does at the same time.
- They find out that the strange ghost is Emit Till, another black child who died of racism.
- Emit shows all the other black boys that have died because of racism. It surprised Jerome.
- The cop that shot Jerome is in pre preliminary hearing. He never followed any of the rules he was supposed to and is explaining that.
