- I have not thought about them at all.
- As Banquo and his son unexpectedly run into Macbeth, they discuss the three weird sisters, while Macbeth waits to here Lady Macbeth's bell signal. He hears the bell, and goes to kill Duncan.
- Did I hear a bell?
- I dreamt of the three weird sisters last night!
- Macbeth murders Duncan and brings the murder weapon with him to meet Lady Macbeth. He is worried because he could not say Amen. Lady Macbeth blames it on him being brain sickly and returns the dagger back to the scene since Macbeth is too scared. She advises Macbeth to clean himself of the crime. A knocking is heard.
- I swear I heard a noise after I killed Duncan. I can't even say "Amen"
- I'm too scared. You will have to go instead.
- Stop worrying, you're being brain sickly. You brought the dagger with you, now go return this dagger and plant it by Duncan
- Macbeth said he'd show us to Duncan's chambers?
- The porter answers the door to find Macduff and Lennox who are there to visit Duncan. Macbeth takes them to Duncan's chambers where they find him dead. Alarms are sounded which wake Lady Macbeth and she faints. Banquo leads the lords to investigate, and Malcolm and Donalbain flee the country, fearing they will be murdered next. Macbeth then admits to Macduff that he killed the chamberlains out of anger for Duncan's death.
- Keep knocking like that and you'll wake everyone up. Now come inside.
