Fellow South Africans, I stand before you this evening with a smile on my face because a few months back the country was in a state of panic after Mpox outbreak. I am here to let you know that everything is under control, and we had an increase in vaccine roll outs. The number of new cases has decreased as well as the fatalities. I am proud of each one of you my people and I urge those who haven’t received their shots to do so. So far, we have vaccine coverage of 72%.
Thank you Mzansi oh and a special thank you to the publichealth professionals for their hard work, the study they conducted provided an insight into the feelings and experiences of the people of South Africa. I thank you all.
