- Odysseus and his men just came from the land of Lotus-eaters. They just got off the ship and began exploring. They all were scared because they did not want anything else wrong to happen.#160;
- They came upon a cave and started to feast on the milk and cheese on the shelf. When all of a sudden a big Cyclops came in and took them hostage. At lunch, he ate two of the men.#160;
- The next day they came up with a plan to burn the Cyclopes eye with his club. Then they would run out and escape by riding under the sheep the next day when he would let the sheep out of the cave to graze. After that, they ran to the boat and sailed away.
