- Hello class. Today we will be going over our final that is tomorrow, lets begin with chapter one!
- First lets go over agriculture and its development. When agriculture began it was simply nothing more than placing plants into the dirt! But now it creates almost all our food and has made the world as we know it.
- Now onto Hinduism and Buddhism. Buddhism was started by a man named Siddhartha Gautama, after he meditated for days on end and reached "Nirvana". Buddhism greatly challenged social hierarchy and fought for equal rights. It is now found everywhere!
- Now for the silk road. The silk road exploded Asia and the Mediterraneans economy. It also spread their cultures to many other people and places.
- Hinduism doesn't actually have a known founder and it started instead from large books that told the rules. The book set up society and it spread like wildfire
- Athens developed democracy which is the political system we have in america which is where everyone gets to vote.
- Now onto chapter 2! How did the geography change Greece? Well thats easy many things in greece were exclusive to greece so their economy was good. They also were surrounded by seas and mountains so they were hard to raid.
- The Hellenistic era was the era between Alexander the Greats death and the rise of Augustus in rome. After Alexander the Great died his empire collapsed into war and famine for over 40 years.
