The phase change of liquid to solid is called Freezing. In this phase change molecules become frozen meaning that the initial mass function get closer together and move less.
Don't worry kid ill tell you
Hey kiddo what's wrong?
Lets start with liquid to solid
The phase of solid to liquid is called melting. This phase makes the particles of a solid and turns it into a liquid. initial mass function move faster away from each other.
Dry ice is an example of the phase change of Sublimation. This phase change is from a solid structure to a gas. The solid turns into a gas because it does not have enough pressure to turn into a liquid.
Condensation is the phase change of a gas turning into a liquid. This means that it is the reverse of evaporation and the gas from the sky turns back into a liquid.
In the phase change called evaporation, liquid is turned into a gas. On earth, evaporation is water being recycled turning the water on the ground into a gas in the sky.
And finally, deposition is the reverse of sublimation. Frost is an example of deposition from the cold air during winter making ice particles on glass which is a solid.
No problem, I hope you enjoyed this lesson see you!!
Thank you, Now I know what matter, state of matter, change of matter, and phase of matter is!
