- well, it all started with conflicts realting to some places wanting to end slavery but other wanted to keep it. Another conflict was the states vs federal rights which also took part in causing the civil war .
- Events that happened during the war:To begin, during the civil war in 1860, Abraham Lincoln was elected president, during this same year south Carolina also left the nationAnother event that took place during the civil war was the battle of Gettysburg which was the bloodiest battle that lasted 3 days In 1865 lincoln the president is assassinated and then they made the 13th amendment to end slavery due to his impact in making equal rightsPlans for the reconstructionThe plans for the reconstruction were to set up new admendments like the 13th and this way abolished slavery, granted equal rights to formerly enslaved people, and enshrined the right to vote for people of all races.

- well, I believe that it was such a great thing, to begin the north won the war and they were finally able to free and give rights to the slaves which turned the united states in such a better and equal place
