She has such a bad flashabck about the cop that she is so nervours to even get on the freeway

I wanna puke and scream and cry (11.28-30)."This piece of text shows how uncomfortable Starr feels in a "white" school, and how she has to act to not bring attention to the fact that she knew Khalil. For her, living in a black community and going to a mostly white school brings up many problems.

(12.184-185)"The quote above from chapter 12 represents the police brutality khalil and Starr faced. The fact that Khalil died from touching his hairbrush is unreasonable and unfair. I believe that Starr will get justice for Khalil.
