- Abigail face fills with guilt because she knows she caused something again, as she always does.
- John Proctor and Abigail are having an affair at his barn where he said "Where his beasts are bedded"
- Elizabeth, John proctors wife is sick in bed while this is happening
- Abigail is brought to court for many reason, but while she their Proctor brought up the affair he had with her. She lied that she didn't have an affair with him, and that he is lying.
- John Proctor is telling Judge Danforth that Abigail is lying, and that he admits that he was having the affair with Abigail and that his wife is a witness
- Judge Danforth sends his people to go get Elizebeth so that she can tell him what happens., so they go get her from her house.
- Elizebeth says she saw them have the affair because they had came home and she was home sick while this happened.
- Judge Danforth tells Elizabeth to confess about if they really did have an affair and shecouldnt look at Proctor orAbigail.
- John Proctor faces fills with disappointed because he knows that he's about to be sent to prison because of what he did.
- Elizebeth is then sent to prison and is separated from John Proctor.
- John Proctor is also sent to prison where he is isolated from his wife and everyone else.
