Then the doctor began to read out the following:
"In the 11th century there was a Dr. Hermann who used a hypnotised sleepwalker to murder people".
Look! There are notes from the director Hermann suggesting to recreate the events of that century.
Right! How scary!
15th June 1999Finally, finally! This afternoon Dr. Martin came into my office to tell me that a somewhat unusual patient had arrived: a sleepwalker. He was quick to point this out to me because he is well aware of my interest in this subject, he knows that it is my speciality. I was excited to meet him and ordered the doctor to be shown in immediately. Now, I shall discover if it’s true that a somnambulist can be compelled to perform acts that in a waking state he would never commit!I'll become Hermann, Dr. Hermann!
But that wasn't the end of it, the worst was yet to come when they found Dr Hermann's diary and it said the following...
When they finished reading the book and Dr. Hermann's diary, they understood many things. The silence was interrupted when a man came in.
Cesare's body has been found not far from here...
They went to see Cesare and took him to the insane asylum. When they arrived, they opened the office door and Dr. Hermann was there again.
Mr. Director, unmask yourself. You are Dr.Hermann
Hermann wanted to run away again but this time the doctors stopped him and put him in a straitjacket and locked him in a rehabilitation cell.
Francis and the old man he told the story to, got up from the bench and went to the asylum to see that everything he told him was real.
