- The first war was between Rome and Carthage. The reason this happened was Rome feared that Carthage would conquer them. Rome won with a Corvus land battle which was a ladder that reached Carthage ships. Rome earned peace and the city of Sicily which had many graineries.
- The War was between Rome and Carthage. The reason for this war was Carthage wanted the land they lost from Rome in the first war. In the end, Rome won because Hannibal and his army could not break into the city walls. From the war, Rome earned extra territories and a lot of resources
- The third and final war was also between Rome an Carthage. There was 50 years of peace, but Rome thought Carthage was regaining power, so they burned Carthage, poured salt in the fields so crops would not grow, and either killed or sold the people into slavery. From the last war, Rome became the most powerful empire of the Mediterranean Sea.
