- Siddhartha was born in an Indian province and the son of a king. He received a prophecy that made his father paranoid.
- He was kept in the palace at all times in hopes that he wouldn't see the outside and become a religious leader. He learned multiple skills such as archery during his time here.
- One day Siddhartha snuck out of the palace to see the outside.

- When he got to the town he was surprised by suffering and vowed to find a solution.

- After searching all of India for answers, he finds a tree and meditates under it for 40 days. After 40 days he became enlightened and learned the truth about suffering.
- After Siddhartha was enlightened, he went all over India teaching people about fixing suffering. He said that all suffering is either unstoppable or human made. We can fix suffering by learning to control our actions.
