- In the book of the Bible called Ruth there was a family, with a Dad called Elimelech, a mom called Naomi and two sons called Mahlon and Chilion. There was a famine in their hometown Bethelam, so Elimelech decided to move his whole family to Moab. When they got to Moab the boys married some cute girls named Ruth and Orpah. Then BOOM Naomi's husband and two sons died and all of the wives were so sad.

- Naomi and her two daughter in laws Ruth and Orpah started walking back to Bethlehem because Naomi wanted to go home. All of the sudden Naomi stops and says to her girls 'Go back live at your old home because if you live with me you cannot get married. So stay! But Ruth said no I am going come with you. Where ever you go I wlll go! Ruth went with Naomi but Orpah went back to her Father's house.

- When Ruth and Naomi arrive in Bethlehem Naomi says call me MARA cause if means bitterness and I lost everything. The women realize they are poor and have no food, so Ruth went out to the felids to glean food to feed Naomi and herself. Ruth would get the left over crops left there by the farmers. Ruth gleaned from a farmer named Boaz. Boaz was really kind to Ruth. He told his workers to leave extra crops for her.
- At home Naomi said 'Where did you get so much food?' ' Ruth said ' I worked in Boaz's field. He is a real gentleman.' 'Oh, he is a relative a Kinsmen' Naomi said happily 'only go to his field from now on'. After a while Naomi says ' I think Boaz has a crush on you. You have to get your cloak on, go to the barn but hide until he is done eating and drinking and falls asleep. You need to uncover his feet and lie down beside them
- Ruth goes and does everything Naomi says. Boaz was shocked and asked 'Who are you?' Ruth told him 'I am Ruth the girl who works in your fields, please take care of me'. 'I have one guy that is closer to me. I will talk to him tomorrow. You are really kind and as the Lord lives I will redeem you. Sleep here tonight and go in the morning' Boaz said.
- Boaz wakes and goes to the gate and waits for the other relative. He asks this man if he wants the land. The relative replies that he does want the land. Boaz explains that if he takes the land he must marru Ruth. The relative says he already has a wife so he couldn't do it. Boaz becomes Ruth's redeemer. Ruth and Boaz got married
