- The conflict is that her husband wanted a divorce and she murdered him and she wants to cover it up. she doesn’t want to go to jail because she is pregnant.
- Falling Action
- She is waiting for her husband. Then her husband returns and is he is acting weird. Her husband then tries to get a divorce and she is shocked. She goes to cook dinner and grabs a leg of lamb. She then walks over to him.
- Resolution
- Mary walks over to her husband and hits him over the head with the lamb leg. he falls to the floor dead. Then she sets a crime scene and cooks the lamb.
- She goes the grocer and talks with him like normal so she isn’t suspicious. Then she goes home and reacts it as if she is surprised. She calls the police and they start investigating. The police go to the grocer and do not suspect Mary because she was so cheerful. The police start to leave and only a few remain. Mary finally finishes cooking the murder weapon, a leg of lamb.
- Mary begs the policemen to eat the lamb leg because she feels horrible. As the policemen dig in, they have no idea that they are eating the weapon, while Mary giggles in the next room.
