- I just lit up a fire in wood, therfore, it is thermal energy!
- That is called radiant/light energy, it also comes from the stove that I cook food on!
- Ow! The rays from the sun keep hurting my eyes, I wonder what energy is that...
- Our car broke down honey, this is called potential energy, when objects are stationary! Let's call the tow truck.
- That car just stopped moving all of a sudden, why?
- Yes, it's called electrical energy, the movement of electrons throught the outlet/wire, that's how it turns on!
- Wow! How does the TV just magically turn on, does this have energy in it too?
- WRONG! It's actually called chemical energy, in fact, food has the most chemical energy in it!
- Yayy!! I'm so hungry, let's eat! Wait, there's no way a type of energy is in this, right?
- Indeed it does, it's called kinetic energy, it's everywhere, if an object is moving, it's considered Kinetic Energy.
- This plane ride is so long mom, but I wonder if it has energy too...
