  • The British started a law where the colonist could not pass certain areas. They did this because they wanted to make sure the colonist could not gain any land. The colonist were mad about this law. They thought it was agaisnt their rights. They also were mad because they had no representative to help with this choice.

  • The British raised the taxes on sugar and goods. The British did this because they wanted more money from the colonist. This caused smuggling to happen.Which the British added another law to stop this. The colonist didn't stop the smuggling more but instead it increased,

  • The British made another law to which had the colonist taxed for any paper or letters sent out. The colonist had no say of this happening and started getting angery. The colonist started boycotting but it never worked. this made the colonist even more.

  • British taxed the colonies forglass, lead, paint, paper, andtea. British believed they needed more money. This caused the colonies to protest saying that there shouldn't be taxes without representation. As more things were being taxed without any say from the colonies. The more the colonies got mad.

  • A fight broke out between British guards and colonists. 5 were killed and a painting by Paul Revere was used as propaganda. There are several stories of what happened. We don't know for sure what happened. All we know is that people died.
  • The colonist finally wanted to get revenge for all the British has done. The started off by pouring the English prized possession which was tea. This changed everything for both sides. The British was mad because their money was going down the drain. The colonist were happy to get their pay back.
