- Mommy! Do we have to keep walking? My legs are tired.

- I am so glad farming was invented. It makes life so much easier.
- We all work really hard to grow our own food. It is still difficult, but we have a lot more tools and we are learning fast.
- Advanced farming/Permanent homes
- Technology is advancing. With domesticated animals and new tools, farming is a lot simpler. I even had time to build myself a real house for my family.
- Job Specialization
- Hey, we have enough surplus of food for me not to be a farmer. I am going to be a Doctor
- You are right! I want to be a priest.
- I think I'll be a shopkeeper. Anybody want a scythe? 2 for one bag of grain.
- Population in growth / Cities
- Now that people have more food, our population is growing.
- We started moving closer together to gain from other people's jobs. Life is awesome!!!
- Civilizations
- Today we learned about the history of civilization. Did you know that we used to hunt for food? Now we have a lot easier lives. Now we just have to worry about not getting fat.
