- Vera gets up, staring out at Tech City, before climbing out of bed and getting ready for the school day. Afterwards, she heads out the door to the hovertrain station
- Vera arrives home, to find her dad. He offers to take her to his work place (Cyber Robotics inc.), noting that she once had wanted to a apply for an internship there. She throws her backpack on the couch and they head out the door to the car

- They arrive at the building, Vera's dad showing her around, rambling about the tech they were developing. Vera spaced out, for she only cared about the tech around her.

- Suddenly, a man rounded the corner of the building, his white hair affray, and his unusual blue eyes held an murderous glint to them. Vera's dad stood in front of Vera protectively, only to be shoved out of the way roughly. He stumbled back, crashing into a display, which fell on him.

- Determined to get help for her dad, she went into a development lab, searching for a phone, She heard a laugh behind her, and she turned to see the manic from before standing there. He introduced himself as Techno, saying that Cyber Robotics stole his idea for a computer. Vera stood there, quivering in fear. She picked up a crow bar, throwing it at him. He went over to a computer, pressing his hand against the computer montior, making it explode. It caused Vera to stumble forward, hitting her head against the corner of a metal table, and she blacked out.

- After she had regained conciseness,she found that Techno was gone, She went back outside to find her dad being attended to by a few paramedics attending to him. She smiled, thankfully that Techno was gone and her dad was safe and being attended to.
