- In a Igbo village, near the Niger river, there was a man who desire to be respect by people and he was almost near to reach its ideals and God.
- Climax
- His name was Okonkwo and when he arrived at the finish line, he made a mistake to kill his son and a person during the ceremony. He had been exiled for seven years and when he returned back, he discovered an enormous problem.
- Falling Action
- His village was occupied by the British and they want to convert the people to the Catholic Church. Even one of Okonkwo's son was in it.
- Resolution
- This fracture of their culture had started to make them one against the others and, Okonkwo decided to take part of it, for re-establish the old order of the things going directly to the British governor.
- They try to convince him, but everything it was only a trap for making put in jail Okonkwo and all the elders. There wasn't hope anymore for change the things.
- Okonkwo was unable to stay under this new system of religion and he decided to hanging himself, making a violation of the laws of its ancestors and the only people who decided to take him off were the British soldiers.
