- Around Thanksgiving, the inner noise rose to an all-time high. I spent eight hours panicking and crying in the bathroom over the course of three days; it was the only place where I could lock my family out. - As my misery increased exponentially, I kept up at my job in digital filing. It was a place I could detach my brain from my mind and just follow procedure without having to think about anything. I often watched Netflix or talked to my friends while working, because it required so little brainpower.

- Out of curiosity, I looked up Yaz while on facetime with Paige. One of my other friends was using it for acne, and I wanted to see what it could do for me. One word caught my eye.

- I took a couple of online women's health tests to see what they had to say about my theory of my condition. They all pointed me towards the same answer: see a doctor. Immediately.
- Wes - it's okay! Don't stress; at least we know what's going on now. There's a possible solution now, so you're better off knowing.
- For a split second, I felt a sense of profound relief. I didn't know I still had a long journey ahead of me. I still had weeks and weeks to go until any actual action was going to be taken, but at the moment it felt good to know what was up.
