- The British Tax
- We need to pay for the army. I have an idea lets tax the colonies!
- What a wonderful Idea! Event hough they have gotten used to our Salutary Neglect!

- Why do we have to pay for taxes just to be babysat!! It's not fair. The British don't pay as much as us.
- The First Tax
- Well I am done buying paper because I can't afford the taxes.
- I know gentleman this is ridiculous.
- The colonies had gotten used to governing themselves, but England had fallen into debt because of the long seven year war. The British decided to tax the colonies in order to get money and the colonists are not happy.
- They Come Together
- We need to fight the British taxes because they are unfair.
- The colonists are mad because they are being taxed more than the British just to have soldiers babysitting. The colonists started to grow angry because they had no representation in parliament even though they were being effected by the decisions.
- The Colonists are Dysfunctional
- The colonists had received their first direct tax by way of the Stamp Act in March of 1765. The importance of paper and the tax on it had affected the colonists tremendously because of the use of it in day to day lives.
- The End of the Stamp Act
- STOP TAXING US
- At this point the colonies came together to fight the Stamp Act. As they would be pushed to the side individually the colonies came together in October of 1765 to form the Stamp Act congress.

- They colonists can't agree on how to get rid of the Stamp Act. They are having problems within the Stamp Act Congress.
- Our way is better!
- No our way is better.
- The sons and daughters of liberty are tormenting the tax collectors and people who aren't protesting the Stamp AcT. Eventually the British government gets annoyed with all of the craziness so they appeal the Stamp Act but there is still unrest among the colonists.
