The Tea Act occurred to fix the financial problem in the East Indian Tea Company by granting it a monopoly on all tea exported to the colonies.
Why is the British company the only one that sells tea?
Buy your tea! Tea! Buy your tea!
I don't know, but did you know that Anne's daughter doesn't want to get married?
The Boston Tea Party was an act of protest in which 60 colonists threw 342 chests of tea to agitate the of tea and the perceived monopoly of the East Indian Tea Company.
Those British better stop messing with us!
Good!
All done here!
The Intolerable Acts were series of laws created to punish colonists for the Boston Tea Party, it prohibited colonists from meeting up because the British Parliament believed they would plan some other kind of protest against them.(Fun fact: the person talking is one of the 60 colonists that were involved in the Boston Tea Party in the previous box).
I still can't believe they will arrest us if a couple of us meet up, it's not like we're all planning something against them, we just want to meet with our friends!
