- ויקלע ויך את הפלישתי אל מצחו- And he slung it and he hit the Plishtii
- וישלח דוד את ידו אל הכלי ויקח משם אבן- And Dovid took from his bag a stone
- ואתנה את בּשׂרך לעוף השׁמים ולבהמת השׂדה- And I will feed your flesh to the birds in the sky and the animals in the field.
- You come ready for war I come with Hashem .I will kill you and feed your flesh to the beasts of the sky and the land
- I'll kill you and feed you to the animals in the field and birds in the sky
- Dovid throws the rock and hits Golias's face next to his eye where his helmet was uncovered.
- וישסו את מחניהם–and they got all the riches
- Dovid sticks his hand in his backpack and took out a stone and slingshot. Golias looks up at the birds in the sky and his helmet that covered his face fell back.
- וירעו וירדפו את הפלאשתים - and they chased the Plishtim
- Dovid and Golias are approaching each other for war.Dovid says that who ever lives and whoever dies is in Hashem hands.
- ויפל על פניו ארצה- And he fell on his face on the ground
- Bnei Yisroel got all the riches from the Plishtim.
- The Plishtim hear Golias was killed and ran away from Bnei Yisroel. Bnei Yisroel chase the Plishtim and killed most of them.
- The rock hits Golias's head and he falls forward. One reason why he falls forward is because he had a necklace of dagon and when he fell it got smashed.He cursed Hashem so his mouth got filled with dirt.It was easier for Dovid not to walk to get the spear from Golias so he fell forward.
