- Jonah prayed to God and God asked him to go to the city of Nineveh to make them know about God and how he will look after everyone. and to teach them to be good. God said that the would destroy the city in 40 days.
- Jonah did not want to because Nineveh was the enemy of Israel and tried to hide from God he went onto a ship and went below deck.
- There was a terrible storm and they tried everything to stop it but Jonah knew that this was the doing of god so they threw him into the sea and sure enough the storm subsided.
- A whale came out of the blue and swallowed Jonahhe spent three days in side the belly of the whale but he knew god was there and would keep him safe.
- Jonah was spat onto the beach and God told him he could not hide from him and Jonah went to Nineveh and told the people about God and how he saved him and taught them how to be good.
- God decide not to destroy the city of Nineveh and to give them a second chance. But Jonah did not understand why he didn't destroy them because they were enemies." Jonah the people deserve a second chance and i love all my people.
