- In 1754 British and the Indian and the French fought over control of the Ohio River Valley . It cost a lot of money to the British,so they needed to recoup the money.The Brtish won the war
- Boston tea party
- In 1763 King George the 3rd charged taxes to recoup money from the French and Indian war.They did the Stamp act ,the Townshed act,the sugar ,and the tea act.The colonist boycotted the acts and protested them.They were being taxed unfairly."No taxation without representation"
- Battle of Lexington and Concord
- In 1770 A protest/boycott made things vilant.A fight broke out between colonist and the England soldiers .5 colonist were killed .
- Battle of Bunker Hill
- In 1773 there was a reponse to the tea tax. The Sons of Liberty disguised as Indians and boared the ship. They dumped 342 boxes of tea into the Boston harbor. It helped unite colines against Egland.This caused the Amercian Revolutionary War
- In 1775,April 19th. Paul Revere and others warned the minute men that the British is coming to Concord. The minute men fought the British until they forced to leave. Colonist and British soldiers fought in the old north bridge in Concord.The colonist won.
- In 1775 June 17th . The milita decided to build a fort on Bunker hill so they could shoot down at the shoot down at the British. William Prescott said "Dont shoot until you see the whites of there eyes."When the British got close the militia in the fort started firing.
