Echo!! I have now decided that for your punishment you can only repeat what others say!
*And then, Hera left to go complain to Zeus about his behavior (He probably didn't listen)*
*Zeus left*
Much later, Echo found herself roaming through her area of residence and then saw the boy she liked, his name was Narcissus. Narcissus was very self-absorbed and good-looking, so it should've come as no surprise that when Echo followed him in the wild to a pond, Narcissus looked down into his own reflection and fell in love with himself. Echo wanted to tell him that SHE loved him, but he was too absorbed in himself that Echo just had to wait for him to say how much he loved himself so she could repeat the words back in an attempt to get his attention.
"I love you" (Echo repeating his words for his attention, it was unsuccessful).
I love you (referring to himself).
Narcissus then couldn't look away from himself, so he wasted away, totally and utterly in love with himself, and only himself. Echo was terribly sad about this, and so she cried and cried until she wasted away as well. It is said that Echo can still be heard till this day, just helplessly repeating none but what others say.
