- The protestors are stopped by the government in Regina, Saskatchewan. The leaders of the protest are taken by train to Ottawa to speak to Bennett, while the other protestors are told that they will not leave for Ottawa.

- They are to stay here in Regina until a decision is made or the protest is disbanded

- The negotiations held by Bennett break down into a screaming match. The leaders return to Regina and the protesters to discuss what action is to be taken next, however, Bennett has ordered for the protest to stop and the leaders to be arrested

- The protestors had gathered in a public space in Regina to hold a peaceful demonstration when police surrounded them. They were told to stand down and when they refused, the police assaulted the crowd and arrested the leaders. At the end of the riot, 2 were dead and tens were injured
