- If the government could immediately put together a project study for public or negotiated bid, the plan could run more efficiently. For example, having a private sector partner (PSP) helps supply contemporary jeepneys to the drivers. There can be multiple PSPs or a consortium of PSPs.
- Woah, this news update got me reflecting. Hmm, I believe one key strategic intervention is consolidation. Consolidation of number of operators, number of franchises, and public transport fleet. - For me, I think the government should be considerate enough before implementing this project. They should find alternatives for the drivers just in case they cannot really afford the upgraded vehicles. In that way, they will not be afraid of losing jobs and they can easily adapt.

The government must uphold those workers’ rights and the national economic interest by amending department orders, plans, and agreements that are biased towards capitalists and public-private partnerships.
