- 1. Cole Matthews was beaten for the first time by his drunken dad after he came home. After that Cole was beaten over and over again against his will.
- WHY ARE YOU ALIVE!!!

- 2. Cole is always fighting and stealing. One day he trashed a hardware store and starts bragging about it in school. Peter snitches on Cole and after school in the parking lot Cole beats peter up
- i couldn't find something to show fire but this shelter is on fire
- 3. Since coles criminal record is so bad he is sent to an island for a year instead of going to jail. He burns the wooden shelter hes in and then tries to swim away from the island
- 4. Cole gets mauled by the spirit bear and is trying to survive. He spits at the bear to show that he is not afraid of it although the bear just licks it up. Cole is slowly dying and running out of ENERGY. Cole remembers "Food is energy and energy if life." To get life(energy) he eats some moss, a few worms, his own puke and a mouse.
- 5. Garvey and Edwin find Cole and bring Cole back to Minneapolis for medical treatment
- IT'S OKAY HANG IN THERE!
- 6. The circle discusses and decides if Cole should go back to the island or whether the law should take over.
