Aw man... If I fail one more exponents test I'll flunk the marking period. I wish I didn't have to learn them.

Wait What?
Wish granted.
Malak, you've been invited to a game show where you can win 3 billion dollars.
Woooooo!!!

Okay Malak welcome to the "Ex Factor" where the questions are about exponents.

Aw Geez

Okay Malak welcome to the "Ex Factor" where the questions are about exponents.
Aw Geez
Choose the box with the most money and you win it!
3x10^9
Wrong
9^4/9^3
Um Box #3 since it is biggest size...
(2^3)^3
Awwww C'mon!!!
Box 2's answer was 9 which was wrong. You had to use the quotient rule and keep the base which was 9 and subtract the exponents which had a difference of 1.{ ex: 9^1=9}.
Box 3's answer was 512, which was also wrong. You had to use the power rule and multiply the two exponents which was 9. {ex: 2^9=512}
Box 1's answer was 3 billion which was the correct answer. Using scientific notation you would add nine zeros after the 3. The way the number looks is:3,000,000,000.
Since your a kid I'll give you one more chance but you'll win less money.
Thanks!!!
Choose the box with the most money and you win it! Alright, you know what you have to do......
10^5x10^2
3x10^9
Malak, you've been invited to a game show where you can win 3 billion dollars.
Wrong Wrong
1000000^0
9x10^-2
Woooooo!!!
Um Box #2 since it has the highest number?
Um Box #3 since it is biggest... Oh come on!!!
1x10^8
2000^-3
Dang it!!!!!!!
Box 3 was also wrong. Here you had to use the negative exponents law where you put the number as a fraction. It states that x^-y=1/x^y. The answer was 1/2000^3.
Box 3 was wrong because you had to use the zero rule. This rule states that anything to the power of 0 is 1.
Sorry, but box 1 was correct again. You had to use the product rule. This means you add the exponents which was 7, and keep the base which was 10. The final answer was 10^7=10,000,000.

Hmph.
Alright,alright I see my mistakes.

Poof
Now I see how important exponents are.
Good
Then go. STUDY YOUR EXPONENTS!!!
OKAY
Okay Malak. I think that's a good idea.
Mom, I am going to study for my next exponent test.
Malak, come up and get your test. You've improved so much, you got an A!!!!
