- Romeo and Juliet: Act I
- Benvolio, a Montague, tries to stop the fight; but Tybalt, a Capulet, refuses to stop
- The Montagues suck!
- Two Capulet servants are discussing their hatred for the Montagues
- They make a lot of noise so Montague, Montague's wife, Capulet, Lady Capulet and the Prince get involved to stop the fight.
- Two servants of Montague arrive and a fight quickly escalates.
- Everyone except Lord Montague, Lady Montague and Benvolio leaves.
- Later, Paris asks Lord Capulet if he can marry Juliet, but Capulet thinks she is too young.
- Can I marry your daughter?
- She is not ready for marriage. But we can have a ball instead.
- I'm worried about Romeo, can you speak to him?
- Sure
- Lord and Lady Montague leave. Benvolio talks with Romeo.
- Capulet sends a servant with a list of the names of the people invited to the ball. The servant can't read, so he asks Romeo to read the list for him. Benvolio suggests they go to the ball
- Why are you so sad?
- Rosaline doesn't love me
- Lady Capulet and the Nurse agree that Paris is a good marriage candidate for Juliet.
- Welcome to the Capulet's ball!
- Mercutio, Benvolio and Romeo are on their way to the ball, but Romeo is having second thoughts.
- Tybalt gets very angry when he sees Romeo at the ball. He threatens to kill Romeo, but Lord Capulet saves him.
- Go.
- Go.
- I don't want to go
- Ok.
