- As you shop steward, i am a unions representative in the workplace, and as such, i am the contact person between the union and the you as employees, my role is to ensure that the right os us as employees are not violated, as employees, you have to contact me as yor shop steward with your complaints, and i will investigate the matter immediately.

- As your shop steward it is my role to ensure that contracts and collective wage agreements are complied with,i will investigate the complaints and if i find that there is a foundation/the complaint is proven to be valid,i will approach the employer or his representative with the complaint and demand remedial action, as the shop steward i need not to wait for the submition of complaint, because i am under obligation to send the union a report on any complaint as soon as possible.
