- Odysseus and his men finally arrive on Cyclops Island after a long restless journey at sea
- Odysseus's men want to take the Cyclops's food and supplies and leave, but Odysseus chooses to wait because he wants to see the Cyclops.
- As they wait for the Cyclops to return, he comes back and blocks the door with a heavy boulder, blocking them in
- While the cyclops eats Odysseus's men one by one, Odysseus and the rest of his men stab the cyclops eye so they can escape
