- A prince alone in the woods saved by the attendants of the queen of the night from a deadly serpent.
- The prince falls in love with the queen of the night's daughter but she was kidnapped by a priest. The prince vows to rescue the princess, hearing the queen appeared, and agrees to give her daughter to the man and lets him marry her. To achieve this quest he was given a magic flute.
- Tomino and Papageno were led to the priest's temple by three spirits.
- Papageno rushes ahead and finds Pamina. He reassures her that she will be rescued. Tomino sneaks into the temple and finds Papageno and Pamina and they all run into the priest. It turns out that Sarastro is kind and wise.
- Sarastro will only let Pamina go if Tomino proves that he is worthy through some tests. The priest then explained that he only kidnapped Pamina to keep her away from her evil mother, the queen of the night.
