- A ghost comes to hamlet, and tells him to come with him. Nobody else can hear the ghost. The ghost tells him to follow him into the woods. Hamlet is curious, so he follows.
- As I slept in my garden, a villain poured poison into my ear. The very villain who now wears his crown,
- O my prophetic soul
- The ghost then tells hamlet that he needs to get revenge. Hamlet is confused because he doesn't know who this ghost is. He also doesn't know who he should be getting revenge on.
- PLease seek revenge
- I vow.
- The ghost then tells Hamlet that he is the ghost of his father(King Hamlet). King hamlet had just recently died out of no where. After King Hamlet died his brother, or Hamlets uncle took the crown. He Is now king.
- Swear.
- Swear upon my sword not to reveal.
- Swear.
- The ghost of king Hamlet begins to tell Hamlet that The king or his uncle killed him. Then took the crown, and his wife. Which is Hamlets mother. He tells him that his uncle Cladius posioned him through his ear while he was asleep.
- Hamlet is mad because he finally finds out the truth. He then agrees with his fathers ghost. He agrees to get revenge on His uncle. The ghost also tells him to leave his mother alone. He wants her to still go to heaven, and not hell.
- Horatio and Marcellus come up to hamlet and ask him what happened. Hamlet makes them swear not to tell anyone. Then he tells them hes going to act like a madman for a while.
