- Status Quo
- Percy Jackson lives in NYC and goes to Yancy Academy he suffers rom ADHD/Dyslexia. Zeus and Poseidon met on Empire state building to discuss about the missing lightning bolt. Zeus thinks that Percy stole the lightning bolt and if Percy doesn’t return it in 14 days there will be a war between the gods.
- Before Percy enters his school he hears a voice he doesn’t know who it is but it is his father (Poseidon) his father that says to be prepared, he was confused but ignored it. He went to a museum with his class and his substitute teacher turned into a monster/dragon and tells Percy to give her the lightning bolt.

- Give me the lightning bolt!

- Assistance
- I am your protector now.
- Grover is Percy's protector. So Grover has to do everything to keep Percy safe from things.
- Departure
- Percy's mom and Grover take Percy to Camp Half-Blood. Camp Half-Blood is a demi-god training camp so demigods can learn how to be a warrior. On their way there they run into another monster who wants the bolt. Percy and Grover get away and go to into the camp but Percy's mom gets taken to the underworld. When they get to the camp they meet Athena's daughter Annabeth.
- AGHHHHHHHHHH
- Grover, Annabeth, and Percy make a plan to get Percy's mother from the underworld. They go to Luke the demi-god son of Hermes and he gives them a shield and flying shoes. He says that they need to get 3 pearls that are hidden in the U.S. so that they can get back from the underworld. They go to all of the locations. For the first location they had to defeat Medusa by cutting off her head and they got the pearl. The second location was in a museum on a statue of Athena. Percy got the pearl but they had to defeat a hydra by turning it to stone. On the final location they had to get out of a hotel but they were convinced to stay there with a magical lotus cookie.

- Approach
- They only have 24 hours left to get the lightning bolt back to Zeus. They head to Hollywood to enter the underworld.
- So where is the underworld?
- The map says that it should be right here....oh there it is
