- Hi everyone! My name is Kelly Tanner, and I'm a student living in Northeast Saskatchewan. I'm also a mom to six kids in a blended family! In my spare time, I love camping, hiking and spending time on the lake. I get so much joy from being out in nature. Thanks for taking the time to get to know me!
- I am taking this course because I really enjoyed WGST 100 and the learning process I experienced through that course. I am looking forward to exploring the concept of motherhood and mothering in greater depth. Being a stay-at-home mom for most of my adult life has also sparked my interest in taking this course, as I would like to gain a deeper understanding of the different viewpoints and experiences of others regarding motherhood and mothering.
- I hope to learn more about the values and expectations of mothers across different cultures. A question I would have for fellow students as we begin this class is: Do you feel that mothers and mothering is a role that holds a lot of value within our society?
