- Summarize the story: In this story the earth began to change forms and land was created from the “slime of the sea”. Man emerged from the “deepest darkness of caverns”. One dark starless night a woman gave birth to a coral. This coral builds islands and creates other sea creatures. The moonlight crept into the dark crevices of the ocean and the light made way for fish, whales, and other larger sea animals. When dawn comes flying animals arise. Then as the sun moved around the earth, animals that crawl such as turtles and lobsters came and wandered the earth. The last creation was of mankind, who formed in the daylight.
