- I'm Simp. I am a subsistence farmer. I grow crops like rice.
- On my large farm, I use a lot of machinery and technology to grow crops that I sell for profit in the agriculture industry. This costs me a lot of money in investment.
- On my small farming plot, I don't use a lot of machinery or technology. I use a lot of hard work by hand to grow crops that I feed my family with. This doesn't cost me a lot of investment money.
- When I grow rice, it impacts the environment. I do terracing, which means I turn sloped land into a series of flat steps that I can grow rice on.
- Sometimes, Papa Joe's commercial seeds blow into my plot and grow. This can cause issues for me because I don't own these seeds and they have pesticides on them that can hurt my crops.
- Sometimes, my seeds blow into Simp's plot and my wheat begins to grow in his farm. This can cause issues for me because it appears that I gave him seeds and I could get in trouble.
- When I grow crops like wheat, it affects the environment because I use chemicals, like pesticides, to help the crops grow tall and healthy. These chemicals can leak into rivers and steams and can cause pollution.
- We both farm using different systems of agriculture and have different economic purposes. This aside, we both have a major affect on the environment and each other. Sometimes seeds are blown into another plot and it can cause issue with the plants growing in that plot.
