  • Bed and Breakfast
  • *sigh* just a quarter mile left to walk.
  • wait what does that sign say?.. bed and breakfast? I don't know... boarding houses always frighten me.
  • well... I guess its worth a shot.
  • I was on my way to the Bell and the Dragon hotel... but the notice in your window just happened to catch my eye
  • Billy just couldn't turn down this offer and decided to stay at the landlady's boarding house
  • Uh... I saw the notice in the window and i was wondering about a room.
  • Why Hello! Please come in!
  • yes I know, its all ready for you my dear!
  • my dear boy, why don't you come out of the cold its only five and sixpence a night, including breakfast
  • *DING DONG*
  • Bed and Breakfast
  • I should've thought you'd be simply swamped with applicants.
  • just hang your hat there, and let me help you with your coat.we have it all to ourselves. you see, it isn't very often I have the pleasure of taking a visitor into my little nest.
  • But I'm always ready. And its such a very great pleasure when I see someone standing there who is exactly right, like you
  • oh, I am, my dear, I am, of course I am. but the trouble is that I'm inclined to be just a teeny-weeny bit choosy.
  • I'll leave you now do that you can unpack. but before you go to bed, would you be kind enough to pop into the sitting room on the ground floor and sign the book?
  • and you may light the gas fire at any time if you feel chilly.
  • The second floor is mine.and the third floor is all yours, I do hope you like it Mr. Perkins
  • Mr. Weaver how nice.I've put a water bottle between the sheets to air them out, Mr. Weaver
  • No its Mr. "Weaver"
  • Thank you, thank you ever so much
  • He found the guest book lying open, so he took out his pen and wrote down his name and address. There were only two other entries above on his page. One was Christopher Mullholland and the other was Gregory W. Temple.
  • So after a few minutes later, after unpacking his suitcase and washing his hands, he trotted down stairs to the ground floor and entered the living room.
  • Such charming boys
  • Hmm, that's funny. Christopher Mullholland, It rings a bell.
  • Gregory temple? Christopher Mulholland?
  • I'm almost positive it was in the newspapers I saw them. I'll think of it in a second. I'm sure I will. I suppose they left recently?
  • They sound somehow familiar, I'm almost positive I've heard those names before somewhere. isn't that odd? maybe it was the newspapers. they weren't famous in any way, were they?
  • No thank you, it tastes faintly of bitter almonds.
  • Its "Weaver"
  • also the last entry is over two years old.
  • Excuse my asking, but haven't there been any other guests here except them in the last two or three years?
  • Famous? oh no, I don't think they were famous. but they were incredibly handsome, both of them, I can promise you that. here have some tea
  • Left? but my dear boy, they never left. they're on the fourth floor, both of them together. would you like more tea?
  • Dear me, how time does fly away from us all, doesn't it Mr. Wilkins?
  • No, my dear, only you
