- All hail Macbeth! Thane of Glamis, Thane of Cawdor, the future King!
- "You are lesser than Macbeth but also greater"(15).
- "You are not as happy as Macbeth, yet much Happier"(15).
- "Your descendants will be king, even though you will not be one. So all hail Banquo and Macbeth!"(15)
- Macbeth and Banquo meet with the three Witches.
- Tell Me more! I command you!
- The witches tell Macbeth a prophecy about what's going to happen.
- "Into thin air. Their bodies melted like breath in the wind.I with they had stayed!"(17).
- Where'd they go?
- Just like those witches said i'm now the Thane of Cawdor and next i'll be king...but how...i'll have to kill the king.
- The witches give Banquo a prophecy about whats going to happen.
- The King has been amazed by you Macbeth and has requested your presence. I was also told to call you Thane of Cawdor.
- The man who was the Cawdor is being sentenced to death for treason
- Macbeth is not satisfied with the information he has gotten and wants more.
- The witches disappear.
- Macbeth gets the news that the king wants him and that he is the new Thane of Cawdor. He also ponders killing King Duncan.
