Hi Sarah! I woke up early because I'm really excited about our camping.
Hi Shaine me too! I'm really excited about out camping! see you later!
Of course we are. Can't wait for a great learning process adventure!
Okay then, let's go.
Hi Shaine! Hello Sarah! Ready for camp?
What is Soil degradation?
Yea, I heard it is the decline in soil condition caused by its improper use or poor management, usually for agricultural, industrial or urban purposes. It is a serious environmental problem.
Hey guys, look at the land we stand. It became so pale and dry. Have you heard about the soil degradation?? We can see the environment is dropping in pain. The plant not grow so well either.
As now, we know soil degradation is a natural process, it can also be caused by human activity. In the last few decades, soil degradation has been sped up by intensive farming practices like deforestation, overgrazing, intensive cultivation, forest fires and construction work.
Soil degradation negatively impacts plant growth, agricultural yields, water quality, and recreation, because it exists naturally in all soils and is a primary cause of soil depletion.
Without proper care for it would be dangerous. It is very important to take care of our environment.
Soil degradation reduces agricultural yields and threatens farmers' livelihoods. Soil that has been leached of its nutrients cannot support crops, or plants that prevent desertification. Healthy soil is essential to ensure a steady supply of food and biodiversity.
Wow! that was a nice explanation thank you!!
Why it would be dangerous?? and why it is important to take care of?
Continued soil degradation directly impacts the environment and our ability to feed a growing global population. At the least, it undermines the ability to use land optimally, and at its worst, it can lead to desertification, rendering land unusable.
I think we should take care our environment by planting trees, and I think practicing planting techniques is fun!
I really love nature and I think we should take care of it because we also use it for our own needs.
Thank you Shaine and Sarah I really learned a lot today!
