  • He is an ignoramus
  • Camera Angle: Over The Shoulder Displays Montresor's shocked face as Fortunato interrupts him. At the same time, it captures Fortunato stepping ahead of Montresor in attempt to show no fear Still, no music is playing
  • Camera Angle: Close Up The angle captures Montresor's sinister expression as he realizes it was time for him to trap Fortunato. With the close-up angle, we're able to fully see Montresor's devious personality.
  • Camera Angle: Over The Shoulder Displays Montresor slowly sneaking up on Fortunato, ready to attack him at any moment. Over Fortunato's shoulder, we see a very sinister expression on Montresor's face, going back to the fact that Fortunato is completely unaware of Montresor's hate for him. During this scene, the camera slowly backs away as Montresor comes more into the frame. During the scene, a combination of strings instruments can be heard.
  • Camera Angle: Eye Level Angle In this scene, the audience sees Montesero push and chain Fortunato to the wall of the recess. During this action scene, the violin/piano music intensifies, creating a high amount of suspense within the scene
  • Camera Angle: Eye Level Angle/ Crane Shot Once Fortunato is chained up, we see Montesero reach into the pile of bones to retrieve the masonry tools. During this, a crane will be used to reveal Montesero scavenging through the bones. The violin/piano music gets louder and louder.
  • Camera Angle: Eye Level Angle/ Crane Shot In this scene, Montesero begins to build a wall to enclose Fortunato. During the scene, the crane shot will still be in use as well as it is capturing the action from several different angles, taking in the full atmosphere. The music will be at its peak around here
