  • this is the Indus river, this is where we get our water, do religious ceremonies, and water our fields.
  • Here is where many people played and went on the roofs of homes. These homes were made out of mostly brick. Many people had workshops in their own homes. The houses in Indus cities were built on top of each other which later led to the city being abandoned.
  • While showering, you had to stand on a brick or drain and tip water over yourself. After you used the toilet (which were made out of brick mainly) the dirty water went into a drain on the streets. `Toilets didn't look like this. They were mainly made out of brick.
  • This is the great bath. It's used for religion. In this religion they do spiritual rituals using the Great Bath. People were not allowed to enter if they were poor or not pure.
  • This is a seal. Seals were used for labels and writing. Though we can't understand their writing, The only way we know what their writing looked like is because of seals. 
  • There are multiple theories of the decline of the Indus valley civilization. One of the most well known is natural causes. Something could have happened with the water which led onto more problems causing it to end.
