- Hey Terence and Annie I really enjoyed the LES module this year, what is that one crucial thing you think you have learned?
- I really enjoyed the online posting and the formal debate as it taught me how to debate in a formal and an academic manner.
- Mmm pretty much nothing for there, the module was boring for me. what is that you have learnt that is so exciting Kay?
- Well I have learnt how to paraphrase, in text referencing, citations and how to create a reference list to avoid plagiarism when it come to academic writing.
- I could not agree with you more Kay I have been writing my own book and referencing has been helpful to me when it comes to avoiding plagiarism.
- Ohh yeah those were kind of helpful but I still think that it is something that we just learnt on this module this year and it will stay there.
- These skills will be helpful when we pursue our postgraduate studies and when we're working as Economists because we will be required to draw up detailed reports sometimes and referencing will be a part of it.
- You are right Kay even though my mom is no longer in university and is currently working, she does reference a lot as a lawyer and an author. I guess what LES has taught us will be very helpful in our aspiring professions as BCOM students.
